The Cluster Chilli / Suraj Mukhi Chilli (Capsicum annuum) is a unique variety where the fruits grow in tight upward-facing clusters at the top of each branch, resembling a sunflower head — hence the name Suraj Mukhi (Sun-facing). The fruits are small, hot, and very pungent. Extraordinarily decorative with its upward cluster formation. Known as Suraj Mukhi Mircha (Hindi: सूरजमुखी मिर्च), Gadda Mirapakaya (Telugu: గడ్డ మిరపకాయ), this variety is both a functional chilli crop and a spectacular ornamental plant. The multiple upward-pointing red fruits create a stunning crown-like display. Popular in South India as Pundi Mirasangi.
