Coreopsis Firefly (Coreopsis tinctoria) produces masses of golden-yellow flowers with deep red-burgundy centres — the classic bicolour tickseed pattern. Extremely easy to grow, fast-flowering, and remarkably drought-tolerant. One of the most rewarding flowers for Indian gardens — blooms prolifically with almost no care. Known as Tickseed or Blanket Flower relative, Coreopsis is highly attractive to butterflies and bees. The bright golden-red blooms are excellent as cut flowers. A superb low-maintenance garden flower for any skill level.
