Rugosa Rose — Light Pink Mix (Rosa rugosa) is a hardy, disease-resistant rose species producing fragrant, single to semi-double light pink flowers on vigorous, thorny shrubs. Rosa rugosa is one of the easiest roses to grow from seed — more reliable than hybrid roses and valued for its wrinkled (rugose) leaves, strong fragrance, and large rose hips. Known as Gulab (Hindi: गुलाब), Gulabi (Telugu: గులాబి), Rosa (Tamil: ரோஜா), Rose (Malayalam: റോസ്), Gulabi (Kannada: ಗುಲಾಬಿ), and Gulab (Marathi: गुलाब). Rugosa roses are perfect for hedges and naturalised plantings. The rose hips are edible and exceptionally rich in Vitamin C.
