The Alamo Vine (Merremia dissecta), commonly known as the Noyau Vine or Cutleaf Morning Glory, is a spectacular and fast-growing perennial climber celebrated for its elegant, funnel-shaped white flowers featuring a rich burgundy or crimson throat. This vigorous vine produces beautiful blooms that stand out strikingly against its deeply-lobed, palmate dark green foliage with finely toothed margins. Perfect for adding a lush vertical accent to your garden, it climbs effortlessly over fences, trellises, arches, and balconies. It is highly attractive to bees, butterflies, and other beneficial pollinators, providing a generous floral display from late spring right through to autumn.

Its seed pods are equally charming — the dried woody sepals fan out beautifully, earning the plant its poetic nickname, the Wood Rose. In English, it is commonly called the Alamo Vine, Noyau Vine, Cutleaf Morning Glory, Split Leaf Morning Glory, or Wood Rose.
