The buds are long and tightly furled, but as the morning sunshine reaches them they steadily unfold themselves into large sky-blue trumpets with clear white and yellow throats. The trumpet-like flowers, 3–5 inches across, are borne in clusters of one to five blooms, standing out magnificently against the vine's lush, broad, heart-shaped green foliage. Perfect for adding a stunning vertical accent to your garden, it climbs effortlessly over fences, trellises, arches, and balconies.
