The Red Ball Chilli (Capsicum annuum) is a compact, round variety producing small, globe-shaped bright red fruits with sharp, medium-high heat. Similar to cherry bomb chilli, the round shape and vivid red colour make it both visually appealing and culinarily versatile — excellent for pickling whole, adding to curries, or drying. Known as Goli Mirch (Hindi: गोली मिर्च), Gunde Mirapakaya (Telugu: గుండె మిరపకాయ), and Round Red Chilli, this compact variety is well-suited for container growing on balconies and terraces. The ball-shaped fruits look spectacular when the plant is laden with bright red spheres.
